The show is one of a series of 5 Stars reviewed vintage, radio-style comedy adventures that picks you up and takes you into a world of mischief, mayhem, live sound effects and 1940s derring-do that’ll have you leaving the Leatherhead Theatre with a great big smile on your face.
John Jobling is an endearing upper-class half-wit
who stumbles across amateur detection as a pastime. Doris Golightly is his erstwhile housemaid who ends up being his assistant in order to stop him from wandering into situations where death is on the line (with mixed results).
In this 2025 tour, Jobling & Golightly seek to thwart a nazi plot to steal all of the country’s juniper berries and deny this Sceptred Isle its gin supply (GASP!).
So book your tickets and remember never to carry more than a brace of live pheasant at any one time: they can be rather tricky!
