May 18th 7:30pm, 2024 DS:UK – In Tribute to Dire Straits – Alchemical TourDS:UK comes full circle and return in 2024 with their highly anticipated “Alchemical Tour” – their tribute to the Dire Straits infamous live “Alchemy”
album, which was released as the first live album recorded during the final nights of the 1982 – 1983 – Love over gold Tour. Since starting to tour in 2018, “DS:UK… in tribute to Dire Straits” have become the quintessential tribute to one of the worlds most loved bands due to their obvious affection for Mark Knopfler’s music and attention to detail that fans truly appreciate. The Alchemical Tour features music and stories from Dire Straits early career and including a very special inclusion that you wouldn’t expect. DSUK have been selling out venues across the country with their Brothers in’85 and ON another NIGHT Tours – “Alchemical” Is going to be something special…. Let’s let it rock and let it roll!

May 23rd - May 25th, 2024 Rare Productions Present: Bugsy MaloneGangster warfare in New York – Dandy Dan’s hoodlums terrorise the district, his rival is Fat Sam Stacetto, who runs the Grand
Slam Speakeasy. Fat Sam engages the help of Bugsy Malone, a smooth city slicker who is often occupied sweet talking Blousey Brown, a would be girl singer. With Bugsy’s help, Fat Sam escapes from a frame up but he learns later that Dandy Dan’s mob have splurged nearly all his gang. They’ve also destroyed his sarsparilla and grocery rackets the whole empire’s gone! There’s only one hope left. Fat Sam pays Bugsy 400 dollars in exchange for more help. Bugsy and
Leroy Smith, a guy with an awesome punch, witness a secret delivery of splurge guns at Dock 17. With a bunch of down and outs, they help themselves from the crates. Then the police arrive, led by Captain Smolsky and Lieutenant O’Dreary. Bugsy and the gang escape through a trapdoor. Finally Dandy Dan prepares for a showdown at Fat Sam’s speakeasy. When his mob burst in, Bugsy and the guys let ’em have it the works. Splurge, custard pies, flour bombs… Out of
the gooey pandemonium it emerges that Bugsy and Blousey have made it up. Peace has broken out at last. Can you see yourself caught up in this gangster’s paradise?

Alan Menken (Newsies, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors), this uplifting musical was nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Musical. When disco diva, Deloris Van Cartier, witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure she won’t be a found: a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior. Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to
inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community but, in doing so, blows her cover. Soon, the gang is giving chase, only to find them up against Deloris and the power of her newly found sisterhood. ensemble, dancers, singers and actors. The aim of Summer Youth Project is to provide up to 150 youngsters aged 9 – 21 with the opportunity to work together in a professional theatre. The two-week project culminates in five performances of a full-scale musical under the supervision of a highly skilled creative team including a professional Director, Choreographer, Musical Director, Musicians and Technical team all in just 2 weeks! The project provides children & young people with a unique opportunity to take an active interest in the performing arts and is a good foundation for those wishing to further their careers in this field. As well as being actively involved in the arts, it helps our young cast build confidence, develop learning skills, unite with a range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds, have fun in an imaginative and creative environment, and of course, make lots of

Planet Earth has been renamed the Planet Mall and is controlled by the Globalsoft Corporation. The head of
Globalsoft is the sinister Killer Queen, who has banned all non-computer generated music. She has heard of a prophecy that instruments have been hidden somewhere on the planet and that ‘The Dreamer’ will emerge from the people to show the way to them. She orders her Chief of Police, Khashoggi, to get to the bottom of the matter and crush any rebellion. Meanwhile, Galileo, a young student and an outsider, is desperate to “break free” from this corporate world. He hears lyrics in his dreams
and is heralded as the star of the prophecy by the Bohemians who have been searching for the lost instruments. To fulfill the prophecy. Galileo must evade the clutches of the Killer Queen and finally bring back the music. With the help of Pop, an aging hippie librarian, Galileo and Scaramouche find Rock’s Holy Grail–Brian May’s guitar–buried in the remains of Wembley Stadium.

July 20th 9:00am - 11:00am, 2024 Leatherhead Theatre Pantomime: Dick Whittington! - Child dance auditionsCHILDREN’S DANCE AUDITIONS for The Leatherhead Theatre annual Christmas Pantomime!! LP Creatives and The Leatherhead Theatre would like to invite you to join the cast of ‘Dick Whittington!’ We are seeking Performers aged between 7-16 years old (Must still be in year 11 on the 1st of December) to join The Leatherhead Pantomime company. We will be casting for dancers/villagers and also for King Rat’s ‘Rattlings!’. Singing and Drama experience is desirable but not essential. Auditions will start at 9:00am at The Leatherhead Theatre on the 20th July 2024 (please be there
early. The theatre will be open from 8:30am) The audition will last approx two hours. All candidates must wear comfortable and suitable shoes/clothing and be prepared to dance on their own. We look forward to seeing you there! Please note that all children remain the responsibility of the parents/guardians during this time, who are welcome to stay in the theatre cafe for the duration of the audition. Selected children must be available for ALL performances and rehearsals – Details of the performances can be found on the theatre website and rehearsals will begin on or around the start of December 2024. There may be school performances so some school time may be missed. We can’t wait to see you there!!!
