CHAMPIONS (12A)
PSDS is a local charity providing support for children with Down syndrome and their families. Parent-led and entirely self-funded, PSDS helps children and young people who have Down syndrome reach
their full, individual potential.
Specialist services provided by PSDS include pre-school early development groups, a school support and training programme, after-school clubs, social events for the whole family and youth groups for teenagers focusing on communication, friendships and life skills. Through its "no label, no limits" approach PSDS changes lives by changing perceptions about what a
diagnosis of Down syndrome really means.
Join us for our special screening of Champions, in support of PSDS, and help this wonderful local charity achieve more than they imagined - just like the basketball team at the heart of this movie!
Funds raised during our charity screening will help
provide important social opportunities, bringing together the children, young people and families who are members of PSDS over the Summer.
